Welcome to Outback Suspensions!

Leaf Springs or Coils?
Can't decide? Why not both?

Anyone who has driven a leaf sprung 4x4 will know that the ride is hardly a big selling point.

OUTBACK SUSPENSION's coil springs extend the leaves to their softer ranges, and then firm up as the suspension is compressed. This gives you a proper rising rate suspension system that gives a nice ride over small bumps and corrugations but adapts itself to handle anything this side of a canyon. Put it all together and you've got a much stronger system which makes for greater off road ability and you get a better ride to boot! The leaf spring is retained and supplemented with a coil spring which takes over much of the load bearing tasks.

Benefits of an Outback Suspension conversion include:

Increases vehicle stability
Increases height and clearance
Stops towing sag
More comfortable ride
Increase load capacity without harshness
Distributes weight to 12 points
Increased shackle rubber life
Decreases axle hop
Enhanced overall ride & improved steering
